The Cobourg Lions Club was serving up another BBQ at Merwin Greer Public School today at their open house and book sale. Even Cobourg’s mayor made an appearance. What a great crew!

On July 25, 2026, the Lions Centre was rockin’ with the Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton tributes. Everybody was on the floor dancing up a storm!

The Lion’s Hall had a fantastic time ringing in the New Year. Guests were treated to a fabulous meal followed by live music from Coup de Ville. The band played all the hits and the crowd danced until 2026! We can’t wait to do it again next year!

The Lion’s Community Centre was treated to an incredible performance on Saturday night. Will Chalmers did beautiful renditions of about 30 Neil Diamond hits. The crowd was dancing and singing along. Friday, July 11th was an amazing night at the Lion’s Centre. We had the Bewdley Lions helping out with their food truck and at the door as we welcomed Whiskey Glasses, a Morgan Wallen tribute, to our stage. We had line-dancing lessons, and the dancing didn’t stop there. The dance floor was packed all night.…

The Lions Club hosted Fleetwood Nicks and Practically Petty on Saturday night.  They performed all the classic hits. These two fantastic tribute bands gave a great show and had the crowd up dancing.   Can’t wait for the next one! 

Thank you to everyone who came out to make the Cobourg Lions Newfoundland Jiggs Dinner such a success. Everyone agreed, the meal was SOME GOOD. It was a proud day for the Lions as we raised our flag in front of Cobourg’s Town Hall. We’ve been serving the community for 75 years. What an accomplishment! We serve!
